“The Drop & Go® has made ingress and egress easier and safer for our operatives, while the increased payload compared with our previous vehicles allows us to meet more customer requirements with fewer vehicles on site. The lower body height makes equipment easier to access, and our vehicle specification allows equipment to be stored in designated areas, helping to reduce damage and wear while improving load security. Before adopting the Drop & Go®, we primarily used traditional Transit flatbed and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter dropside vehicles. Since discovering the Drop & Go® in 2015, we have continued to order more than 52 vehicles over the last 10 years, and we have phased out our older traffic management vehicles. The rear ramp and reduced body height work well together, helping reduce manual handling during unloading. On the reactive contract I currently manage, the ability to use these
vehicles across different tasks has been a real benefit. Not having tail lifts has also been useful, as LOLER testing is not required for a tail lift. It also
