The AKFS Standard Minibus has a gross vehicle weight of 3,500kg. Depending on the seating configuration, vehicle use and driver licence entitlements, suitable versions may be driven on a standard full UK driving licence. The 17-seat configuration requires D1 entitlement, so it is important to confirm the intended use of the vehicle and the licence entitlements held by individual drivers before finalising the specification. 

This can help organisations manage their pool of drivers more effectively, provided the selected configuration is suitable for their operational requirements. 

The vehicle is also supplied with a 100km/h speed limiter as part of its standard specification.
