Chris Comer from Artisan Hire says “KFS understand our needs and have used the unique KFS non slip aluminium floor system and mesh platform lift that gives us unparalleled versatility and simplicity for the transportation of our equipment. Add to this the new generation euro 5 cabs from Citroen and Fiat, which have resulted in significant fuel saving as well, means we have saved both time and money."
The Plant and Go® vehicles allow the users to load and unload much easier and quicker due to the fact that they are lower and the vehicle can be driven on a standard car licence removing the need for expensive trailer tests having to be taken. This leads to a better whole life cost profile with regards to capital cost and operating costs over the traditional van, trailer combination.
It is also the lightest vehicle on the market, so uses less fuel and makes the vehicle more environmentally friendly. They are hard wearing and built to a very high standard, making them the perfect solution for the tough environments of Plant Hire Companies.
Ian Knight, MD of KFS (right), commented. “The Fiat and Citroen cabs allow us to build a fantastic vehicle that delivers what the client needs and is backed up with the manufacturer's own comprehensive 3 year warranty.”
